Scannable Code 128, made locally

Code 128 is the everyday barcode for shipping labels, asset tags, tickets and internal inventory — it packs the full set of standard keyboard characters into a compact, reliable symbol. Type anything, tune the bar width and height, and optionally show the human-readable value beneath the bars. A quiet margin is added automatically so scanners read it cleanly.

Export vector SVG whenever you can — it stays razor-sharp at any print size — or a 3x PNG for tools that will not take an SVG. Everything is generated in your browser; nothing is uploaded. For QR codes instead, use the QR Code Generator.

Frequently asked questions

What is Code 128?

A compact, high-density barcode standard that encodes the full set of standard keyboard characters (ASCII 32–126). It is the everyday choice for shipping labels, asset tags, tickets and internal inventory codes.

SVG or PNG?

SVG is vector, so it stays razor-sharp at any print size and is best for labels — choose it whenever you can. PNG is a fixed-resolution image for places that will not take an SVG; the tool exports it at 3× for clean scanning.

Will it scan reliably?

Yes, with a sensible bar width (2–3) and a quiet margin, which the tool adds automatically. For very long text, increase the width so the narrowest bar stays crisp when printed.

Your files never leave your device

Most online converters upload your file to a server. InfyTool ships the actual encoders to your browser as WebAssembly instead, so processing happens inside your tab — faster for batches, and nothing to delete afterwards.

  • No upload, ever. Turn off Wi-Fi after the page loads and every tool keeps working.
  • No limits. No file-size cap, no queue, no watermark, no account.
  • Runs on your CPU. Batches use several cores in parallel; nothing is throttled.
