LinkedIn’s personal profile background is a 4:1 strip: 1584×396 px, JPG or PNG under 8 MB. On mobile the profile photo covers the left portion and the bottom edge is trimmed, so keep text and logos in the upper-right two-thirds. Company page covers are even wider at 1128×191, and feed posts display best at 1200×627 (1.91:1) or 1200×1200 square.

Every LinkedIn size on this page, verified for 2026: Post image 1200×627 px (1.91:1 · under 5 MB), Square post / ad 1200×1200 px (1:1), Portrait post 1080×1350 px (4:5), Personal profile banner 1584×396 px (4:1 · under 8 MB), Company page cover 1128×191 px (6:1 · under 4 MB), Article cover 1920×1080 px (16:9), Event banner 1600×900 px (16:9), Company logo 400×400 px (1:1), Profile photo 400×400 px (1:1 · under 8 MB). Each card is a live preview of your image in that frame — drag to reposition, slide between Fit (whole image, background added) and Fill (frame covered, edges cropped), then download the one you need or every size as a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded; the rendering runs in your browser.

Because 4:1 is such an unusual shape, use Fill and drag the preview so the interesting part of the photo sits in the strip, or use Fit with a brand colour behind a logo. Export as PNG if the banner contains text or a logo, JPG at 85 for photographs.

This is a pre-set view of the Social Media Image Resizer. Every other platform is one tab away.

Your files never leave your device

Most online converters upload your file to a server. InfyTool ships the actual encoders to your browser as WebAssembly instead, so processing happens inside your tab — faster for batches, and nothing to delete afterwards.

  • No upload, ever. Turn off Wi-Fi after the page loads and every tool keeps working.
  • No limits. No file-size cap, no queue, no watermark, no account.
  • Runs on your CPU. Batches use several cores in parallel; nothing is throttled.
