What quality are the frames?
Full resolution — each grab is taken at the video’s native pixel dimensions. PNG is lossless; JPG is smaller for photos-style frames.
Is the video uploaded?
No. The video plays locally and frames are captured from it in your browser, so nothing is sent to a server — even large files.
A frame came out black — why?
Some browsers can’t decode certain codecs (for example H.264 in a plain video element). If a frame is blank, try a WebM file, or a browser with the right codec support.
