Honest words about validity
An image signature placed with intent is a legally accepted electronic signature for everyday agreements in most of
the world (ESIGN/UETA, eIDAS "simple" signatures, India's IT Act). What it is not: a certificate-based digital
signature that cryptographically proves identity — some government filings and regulated industries require those
from a certificate authority. For the offer letters, rent agreements, invoices and consent forms of normal life,
this is the standard practice. Pair it with a watermark or
page numbers, and merge the annexures — all without the
document leaving your device.

Can I use a signature I already have?
Yes. Click “Upload a signature image” and pick a transparent PNG, or a photo or scan of your signature on paper — the tool removes the white background automatically so only the ink is stamped onto the page. A signature made in our Signature Maker drops straight in this way too.
Is this legally valid?
For most everyday agreements, yes — most jurisdictions (ESIGN/UETA in the US, eIDAS “simple electronic signature” in the EU, the IT Act in India) accept an image signature the parties intend as a signature. It is not a certificate-based digital signature with cryptographic identity proof; regulated filings that demand one need a certificate provider. For the rental agreement, invoice, consent form or offer letter — this is exactly the accepted practice.
Why does no-upload matter extra here?
