The portrait-mode look, after the fact
Phone cameras fake a wide-open lens by detecting the subject and blurring everything else — and there is no reason that has to happen at capture time. The same class of neural network runs here, in your browser: the subject is masked, the background is blurred at whatever strength you choose, and the two are composited back together with soft, natural edges.
A blurred background does two jobs: it hides clutter (the messy desk behind your product shot) and it points every eye at the subject. For a fully removed background instead, the Background Remover is the same engine with transparency out.
