Make a subtle grain or noise texture

Generate a film-grain or noise texture with pure SVG — pick fractal or turbulence noise, then dial in the frequency, octaves, opacity and brightness. Keep it as monochrome grain over any colour, or a colourful static, or a transparent overlay you drop on top of a photo or hero section — all in the big preview window with the settings on the right.

How does the noise get so small?

It uses the SVG feTurbulence filter, so the grain is generated mathematically and stays razor-sharp at any size with a tiny file.

Can I overlay it on a photo?

Yes — turn on a transparent background and export a PNG (or use the CSS), then drop it over any image or section.
