Telegram scales photos to 1280 px on the long edge (2560 px with HD sending) and re-encodes them at about 87 % JPEG quality, so exporting a 1280×720 or 1280×1280 image avoids a second round of compression. Profile and channel photos are 512×512 (shown as a circle); stickers are strictly 512×512 PNG or WebP under 512 KB; stories are 1080×1920.
Every Telegram size on this page, verified for 2026: Channel post (landscape) 1280×720 px (16:9), Square post 1280×1280 px (1:1), Story 1080×1920 px (9:16), Profile / channel photo 512×512 px (1:1 · circle), Sticker 512×512 px (1:1 · PNG/WebP under 512 KB). Each card is a live preview of your image in that frame — drag to reposition, slide between Fit (whole image, background added) and Fill (frame covered, edges cropped), then download the one you need or every size as a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded; the rendering runs in your browser.
For stickers choose PNG, the Transparent background and Fit so the artwork is not clipped. For channel posts JPG at 90 is ideal — Telegram will re-encode anyway.
